The HEMPER Beast Bong 18″

Overall, the Hemper Beast Bong 18” is AWESOME! I recommend it to anyone in the market for a bong under $100. Even better if you have a promo code, BUT even then with Hempers point system + rewards, you get more than you pay for. It has some cons, but the pro’s outweigh them, and more-so with attachments!The Matrix Perk particularly makes a smooth, semi-bubble stacking rip, and thanks to it’s large reservoir it has plenty of room to fizzle. However, due to this piece being a 90-degree joint fixed-stem connected to the Matrix, it causes two problems that would happen just as often with a bong as with a down-stem, EXCEPT: the 45-degree joints usually allow for stem-removal. This Beast doesn’t, so if you’re smoking often:1) it get’s clogged like hell from the bottom of the perk to about halfway up toward the joint from leftover residue, ash, and plant material pulled through.2) The un-removable joint/stem makes it really hard to access some of the crevices needed to get a full clean without using a ridiculously large amount of cleaners like DCC, ISO, epsom salt, or hot water/dishsoap (less effective/better after-step). This also applies to having to replenish your water if you’re a daily smoker like I am.
